5. Attention to detail
In the film Titanic (1997), director James Cameron wanted to recreate the interiors of the ship as accurately as possible. To do this, he invited artists to the real sunken Titanic, using underwater vehicles. Many details, such as patterns on the walls and furniture in first class, were copied from the original. However, due to poor visibility underwater, some decorative elements had to be thought out based on photographs and drawings of that time. Moreover, for filming in the pool, an exact copy of the part of the ship that was later sunk was built - this is one of the most expensive props in the history of cinema.

Potatoes were banned in France for 40 years in the 18th century. Authorities believed that the vegetable caused leprosy and other diseases, since it belongs to the nightshade family (which also includes poisonous plants such as belladonna). Later, French agronomist Antoine-Auguste Parmentier changed the attitude towards potatoes, presenting them as a delicacy for the nobility and even guarding potato fields with soldiers to create the appearance of their value. Soon, potatoes became a mainstay of French cuisine.
