Chinese company LimX Dynamics has created a lightweight bipedal robot called Tron 1, which resembles the AT-ST combat vehicle from Star Wars. 
Chinese company LimX Dynamics has published a video of the bipedal wheeled robot TRON testing. In the video, the robot demonstrates advanced movement skills: by combining riding and walking, it jumps over barriers, climbs stairs with different step heights, and maintains its balance even when people try to push it. If TRON 1 does fall, it gets back up on its feet without any help.
The robot is not afraid of going down stairs - it quickly rolls from step to step, using its legs as shock absorbers. This reduces impacts and makes the movement smooth.
TRON 1 was introduced in October 2024 as a platform for developers and researchers. It is equipped with interchangeable feet that adapt it to different tasks: point supports, flat soles or wheels. In a wheeled configuration, TRON 1 achieves maximum mobility, accelerating to 5 km/ h, performing jumps and overcoming difficult areas.
