The girl went to the toilet, from where she never came out. 
A group of 16 tourists went diving 9 kilometers from Koh Tao Island. A fire started near the engine, and then the diving cylinders filled with oxygen began to explode. The fire quickly engulfed the small boat, and people had to jump overboard to avoid being burned alive.
The tourists and the boat crew were picked up by another vessel, and later it turned out that one girl was missing - her burnt body was found in the toilet.
26-year-old British woman Alexandra Clarke apparently went to the toilet at the time of the fire and was unable to come back out. Metro writes about the tragedy and local media reports.
