In Thailand, monkeys attacked tourists on the beach
A group of monkeys attacked people relaxing on one of the beaches in Thailand. One of the tourists captured images of aggressive primates.
The video, filmed by one of the vacationers at Monkey Beach on the Phi Phi Islands, shows how a group of primates suddenly begins to behave aggressively towards tourists and attack them. Sunbathers in swimsuits scatter as monkeys rush at them and grab their legs. One woman fell, and tourists standing nearby struggled to drive the animals away from her, waving their bags. Moreover, among the monkeys that attacked the vacationing monkeys were cubs.
The island's authorities appealed to vacationers and reminded them that monkeys are wild animals that can behave unpredictably if they feel threatened. People are advised not to make sudden movements in the presence of primates, keep their distance, keep an eye on their belongings and not feed them.
