In Mexico, a drunk tourist tried to fight a sea lion
The unidentified man took off his sunglasses and waded into the water, with onlookers shouting encouragement such as "go float on its back" and "don't worry, the medicine is cheap here."
Once in the water, he raised his fist at the sea creature and tried to swim after it to fight. The startled animal jumped out of the water before swimming away from its unwanted rival, allowing the tourist to emerge unharmed.
Male sea lions are not considered a threat to humans, but experts say they can become aggressive if they feel threatened.
Social media users criticized the traveler, who is believed to be an American citizen. One wrote: "Definitely a Trump voter." Another said: "Was anyone else hoping to get bitten or was it just me?" A third said: "It is illegal to harass animals. I hope he gets caught and fined."
