An otter thanked a man for saving his friend
A video has gone viral on social media, showing a male sea otter asking people to help free a female from fishing nets.
The frightened animal came out of the water onto the pier and started running from side to side, trying to ask for help. A man who was nearby realized that something was wrong and followed the animal.
Soon he saw a heartbreaking picture: the beloved animal was caught in fishing nets that were between the boards of the pier. The man called for help and, together with another rescuer, freed the otter and released her into the sea.
The lovers were reunited. And when the men were about to leave, the male suddenly swam up to them and, as a thank you for their kindness, gave the rescuers a pebble, placing it on the pier.
