There are a lot of exciting supercars in the world right now, and many of them made their debut at the prestigious 2024 Supercar Championship, formerly known as the Repco Supercar Championship (after the sponsor).

We saw new cars designed to improve driver safety, reduce downforce, and meet the demands of regular roads, while maintaining the insane power everyone is known for.

The championship itself has long become a kind of sport that attracts the attention of solid sponsors from various industries. Both automotive giants and technology companies are increasingly involved in these car races.

Recently, companies operating in the gaming and online casino industries have also seen the potential in the world of motorsport, with partners such as Dabble leading the way, as the official bookmaker partner of the 2024 Supercar Championship.

It is well known that many modern supercars are capable of speeds in excess of 300 km/h. Their high performance and surprisingly aesthetic aerodynamic shapes, combined with limited production runs, add to the exclusivity, making them extremely desirable acquisitions.

We take a look at some of the most interesting supercars that are attracting the attention of both enthusiasts and collectors in the last quarter of 2024.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS

Meet the iconic Porsche 911 GT3 RS. This 518-horsepower monster can hit 60 mph in 3.2 seconds and has pretty much everything a supercar could want.

The Porsche 911 GTS is already a recognized icon of the sports car world, but when it comes to taking performance to the next level, perhaps only Porsche's RS division really knows its stuff. It's undoubtedly one of the most desirable supercars, even years after the first car was released. And, as always, that's made its price much higher than the manufacturer's suggested retail price.

The GT3 RS is, in essence, a road-going race car that can easily switch between track and street.

McLaren 750S

Like all McLaren supercars, the 750 aims to achieve a dizzying level of performance. On the other hand, the 750S is even faster, as it is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 with 740 hp, which allows it to reach 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and its top speed is 330 km/h.

This supercar has undeniable advantages, and its design is no less impressive, because it is a McLaren signature style and an ultra-lightweight construction for lightning-fast handling.

A carbon fiber body and an advanced aerodynamic body kit with an active rear wing to increase downforce.

Maserati MC20

The Maserati MC20 is still perhaps the best supercar, despite its debut in 2022. Maserati calls it a “super sports car,” but with its exotic, upward-opening doors, sleek design, Formula 1-level engine, and carbon fiber monocoque, we think it’s a true supercar in every sense of the word.

Powered by a 621-hp, twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6, the rear wheels are capable of 0-62 mph in just 2.9 seconds. And for those who prefer to enjoy the open-air ride, there’s the Cielo.

Audi R8

While some may consider the Audi R8 a sports car, we’ve always loved the supercar label, especially in its latest iteration. The magnificent V10 engine accelerates the car to a hundred in just 3.1 seconds, and thanks (in part) to the engine's mid-mounted position, it certainly has all the characteristics to deserve such a title.

The R8 has been a sensation since its first presentation in 2006, partly due to its unique side panel, which used to contrast in color with the body, but now often blends in with it.

Like the Porsche 911, the R8 is also called a supercar that can be used every day. It can be equipped with the legendary Quattro all-wheel drive or only to the rear axle, which offers an even greater experience of "real" driving.

Aston Martin Valour

After its unveiling in 2023, the rare Aston Martin Valour finally hit the streets in 2024. Only 110 units of this model were produced, making it perhaps the most exclusive and expensive car on our list. Every time such a car hits the road, it is sure to be followed by cameras.

The modern carbon fiber body design is inspired by Aston Martin racing cars of the 1970s. Like a true supercar, it is equipped with a six-speed manual transmission and a magical 705 hp V12 engine.

A supercar with a manual transmission of over 700 hp is something to be savored in a world of motorsport where more and more manufacturers are ignoring the mechanics.

Ferrari 296 GTB

Ferrari is another legendary brand in the world of supercars, offering the magnificent 296 GTB, another incredible achievement from the designers of the iconic Cavallino Rampante (prancing horse).

The 296 GTB features Ferrari’s first ever road-legal V6 engine, which is complemented by an electric motor for a hybrid identity.

The results are impressive – 830 hp accelerate the car to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, and the top speed is 330 km/h. For those who like the sky above their heads, there is the GTS version.
