Two six-wheeled Gelendvagens were spotted in Lviv (3 photos)
Two Mercedes G63 AMG 6X6s were spotted in the center of Lviv. Six-wheeled Gelendvagens are a rarity not only in Ukraine. Focus writes about this.
On the old cobblestone streets of Lviv, the Mercedes G63 AMG 6X6s look very impressive. It is worth noting that these pickup trucks are real giants: the length of the car is 5.9 m, and the weight is 3.8 tons. 
A total of about a hundred original Mercedes G63 AMG 6X6s were produced in 2013-2015. They cost about $500,000 new, but now the price of such a rarity is from $800,000 to $1,000,000. Important
The six-wheeled Gelendvagen is equipped with a 5.5-liter V8 twin-turbo with 544 hp. It is capable of accelerating to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and reaching a top speed of 160 km/h. The all-wheel drive is supplemented by a reduction gear and five locking differentials. 
However, it is quite possible that the cars seen in Lviv may not be the original Mercedes G-Class 6X6 - this is evidenced by the design of the radiator grille of one of the pickups. Copies of the six-wheeled Gelendvagen are made by various tuning studios and workshops. In particular, in Ukraine, several such pickups were built by craftsmen from Zhytomyr and Lutsk.
