If we have already gotten used to the annual bull runs in India, then the fun of the civilized English still surprises us, barbarians, a little. 
So the inhabitants of foggy Albion have such a funny annual event with a very eloquent name "Catch a head of cheese". The very essence of the competition is simple as 3 kopecks. A 4-kilogram circle of cheese is rolled down the mountain and everyone who wants to must catch it before the cheese rolls to the foot of the mountain. Here is such a cheese bun. 
The competition is insanely old and incredibly fun. Cheese can reach high speeds of up to 70 miles per hour (112 km/h), but a person cannot go down a hill on foot at such speeds. So the cheese and the Englishmen race headlong, literally. Every year, dozens of people suffer various fractures at the competition and are treated for several months.
