A teacher at Marsden Public Middle School in Logan City has been asking students to call her "Miss Purr," parents have taken to social media to report. 
She wears cat ears and a name tag with the word "purr" in it to class.
"She... makes kids call her Miss Purr, yells and hisses when they don't listen," one parent wrote in a Facebook comment. "She sits in class and licks her hands. It's absolutely disgusting. Something needs to be done about it." 
For her part, another mother claims that the teacher "made" her daughter "purr for a lollipop."
