While the woman was on vacation, her house was demolished (4 photos + 1 video)

Susan Hodgson from Atlanta, Georgia, USA, was on vacation when her neighbor called her and asked: “Have you hired workers to demolish your house?” She replied that the house had been empty for 15 years, but demolition was out of the question.





The neighbor tried to stop the workers, but they told her to “shut up and mind your own business.” After this, Hodgson's relative arrived and demanded to see the demolition permit. It turned out that the team had the wrong address.

“We haven’t lived in the house for 15 years, but we cut the grass and kept the yard clean. The taxes are paid, everything is in order,” says Hodgson. “It’s hard to believe that someone feels entitled to just come, destroy someone else’s property and leave.”



"I think the owner of the company owes us an apology and he needs to address this issue. He needs to address this issue," Susan concluded.

Representatives from You Call It, We Haul It told Fox 5 they are investigating and working to correct the situation.





In an Oct. 22 news release, the family said it still has not received a response from the company.
