Animals, like people, are very empathetic to relatives in trouble, but not always enough to trust another animal - a person. This funny little colt from South Wales also didn’t know whether he could trust two-legged people, but he had no choice.
Inspectors from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals arrived at the Likhor Estuary when they were informed of a “strange horse” in the swamps. The terrain is not the most convenient for ungulates, the estuary is flooded by the tide, but there is something to eat here. The main thing is to get out on time, but the fact of the matter is that the foal galloping over the bumps clearly did not intend to do this. He wanted to attract people's attention!
Arriving at the scene, the inspectors quickly figured out what the problem was. An adult horse, apparently the foal's mother, somehow managed to get its hind hoof entangled in its own long mane. Because of this, she lay on the ground in a strange position, and every time she tried to get up, she fell awkwardly to the ground. The horse looked tired, and the excited foal ran around and squealed: will you save her? Will you save me?
The inspectors simply cut the tangled strands of the mane and freed the horse from its unusual captivity. Not immediately, not on the first try, she rose to her feet and wandered away. But then she stopped, called the foal to her with a demanding neigh, and the two of them seemed to bow to the people, thanking them before leaving. Or did it just seem that way in the twilight?
