You might be wondering why a man with 51 million euros hasn't bought himself a hypercar or something more interesting. But the answer is right there - we have the most expensive car to have ever raced in a Formula 1 Grand Prix - the Mercedes W196 R Stromlinien wagen, driven by Formula 1 driver Stirling Moss.
World Champion Fangio won the non-championship Buenos Aires Grand Prix in 1955 in this car. His teammate Moss then raced in the season-ending Italian Grand Prix.
