An Alaska Airlines flight attendant twerked on a plane and lost her job for violating the company's social media rules. She posted the video, which quickly went viral, on TikTok.
Nell Dial, who worked for the airline for just over six months, filmed a 20-second clip while waiting for the pilots. The footage posted online shows a girl in uniform performing a dance in an empty cabin. Some users who watched the video demanded that the flight attendant be fired, calling her behavior inappropriate for a person in the carrier's uniform.
Dial later reposted the video with a new comment: "What's wrong with a little dance before work?" and the hashtag #discriminationisreal. According to the girl, she was fired without any opportunity to present her version of what happened.
The flight attendant said she cherished her job because of her passion for meeting new people and seeing the world. Plus, she was able to fund her lingerie and dessert business. Now, Dial is collecting donations while she looks for a new job.
