AutoKeybo has decided to combine a keyboard and a mouse in one device. At the Consumer Electronics Show 2025, it brought an unusual keyboard equipped with a retractable mechanism, a built-in mouse, a touchpad, and intelligent algorithms.
The unusual AutoKeybo keyboard should solve the problem of constantly moving hands between different input zones. The device uses machine vision to automatically move the desired section to the user's fingers. The design combines a mechanical keyboard, a numeric keypad, and a trackpad.
The sections can move automatically with adjustable speed and operating modes. Just make a gesture with your hands. For comfortable work, there are wrist and forearm rests.
An interesting feature is a built-in Linux computer with HDMI and USB Type-C. This allows you to use AutoKeybo as a standalone device.
The keyboard supports the VIA protocol for flexible configuration and has a foldable design for transportation.
The project was originally developed as an assistive technology for people with upper limb disabilities, but can be useful for ordinary users as well.
