First trailer for the film "28 Years Later" (2 photos + 1 video)
The debut trailer for the film "28 Years Later" has appeared online. This is the official sequel to the zombie saga of the 2000s from Danny Boyle.
The plot centers on a group of survivors who have settled on an island connected to the mainland by a single fortified road. When one of them goes deep into the infected territory, he encounters not only mutated infected, but also other survivors who have also changed over the years.
Boyle's film stars Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Ralph Fiennes. Cillian Murphy, the star of the original film, also took part in the project. A character similar to his character appears towards the end of the trailer.
According to Wired, Danny Boyle shot his horror film "28 Years Later" on an iPhone 15 Pro Max. The smartphone was used with the ProRes codec in a log profile. This allowed the video to be shot in 4K resolution, preserving maximum information in the light and dark areas of the frame. The shooting was carried out at a frequency of 60 frames per second.
To expand the capabilities of the smartphone, Boyle's team used various Beast accessories, including a DOF adapter (a special holder). This engineering solution allowed the use of full-frame DSLR lenses, bringing the picture closer to a traditional cinematic look.
