In India, a mob attacked a man in a bra (6 photos + 1 video)
The incident took place in the center of the bustling Insar Market in Panipat, Haryana, India. The blogger, wearing a bra, was not shy in front of others and filmed his dance. Shopkeepers and customers asked him to cover up, but he continued filming.
In the footage, a man holds the dancer by the hand and then slaps him. Locals explained that such a reaction was caused by his refusal to get dressed.
According to Hindustan Times, the blogger shouted obscenities at the stranger, asked him to let go of his hand and said he was ready to leave.
"Some people are ready to do inappropriate things to gain fame. This incident happened in Panipat, Haryana. The man was making obscene videos and the locals gave him a warm welcome," reads the caption of the video.
The dancer calls himself an influencer and has made similar videos in the past.
Despite the violent reaction, police assistance was not required.
Comments poured in on social media: "[He should have] been publicly stripped for such indecent behavior. Morality in the country has reached new lows"; "A new disease is spreading in society - filming videos"; "People are ready to do anything to become famous"; "Money makes you do a lot"; "It seems like the audience didn't like his performance. Some people just don't see the line where their entertainment becomes offensive to others. I hope he learned his lesson."
A study conducted by the University of Pennsylvania showed that people are more likely to share content that evokes strong emotions (both positive and negative).
