Sounds like the title of a decent horror movie. But in reality, everything is cute and bubbly.

Back in the 1970s, Sanyo Electric Co announced its invention - a futuristic washing machine for people, but then, apart from receiving a standing ovation, things didn't go any further. The company didn't give up, but all these years worked hard on its brainchild, selling bathtubs and shower heads along the way.

The Sanyo Electric Co. pavilion at the 1970 Osaka World Fair attracted attention with its "human washing machine" exhibit.

And so, at the Osaka Kansai Expo, the guys presented the public with a modified model of a human washing machine. The human washing machine is shaped like a fighter jet cockpit. It even has a transparent lid that opens backwards.

A person voluntarily places himself in a washing machine capsule filled with various sensors for monitoring the pulse and various biometric data. They should be responsible for the client's comfortable stay, the AI system regulates the water temperature individually. Washing and drying take 15 minutes.

There is no drum in it, so the fun is canceled, washing is done by ultrasound. They dry with streams of warm air. The Japanese have assessed whether this model will go into production, it is not yet known.
