A cargo plane crashed on a residential building on the outskirts of Vilnius (3 photos)

One of the pilots died.





The plane was flying from Leipzig and fell short of the airport in Vilnius. The plane crashed into a two-story residential building and caught fire. The moment of the crash and the start of the fire was captured on video.

The emergency occurred at 5:31 local time, and its causes have not yet been established.



It is known that there were four people on board, two of them passengers. What kind of cargo the plane was carrying is not reported. The residents of the house where the Boeing 737-476 crashed were not injured, unlike their homes.

After the plane crashed, the two-story house caught fire.



12 residents from nearby buildings were evacuated. Special services are currently working at the crash site. Two victims were hospitalized.
