Toyota showed a large electric sedan bZ7, which will be released in 2025 (4 photos)
Toyota has shown a large electric sedan with the index bZ7 in China. This is a sedan with an unusual silhouette. It debuted as a concept car, but in 2025, the joint venture of Toyota and GAC will launch production of its commercial version.
No technical specifications have been officially announced yet, and the interior of the concept has not been shown. The Toyota bZ7 vaguely resembles the bZ3 sedan already sold in China in its aesthetics, but it looks noticeably larger and more prestigious.
The silhouette of the new concept refers to the fastbacks that are popular in China now — the bZ7 does not have a visually distinct trunk, which gives the electric car's shape additional dynamism. The electric car is equipped with emphasized edges on the hood and sides, and the roof has a contrasting color. The headlights resemble the headlights of the current Toyota Prius.
According to the publication, the serial bZ7, like the bZ3, will be equipped with motors and batteries from the BYD concern. The same components will be received by the bZ3C crossover, the production of which should start before the end of this year by the FAW-Toyota joint venture. This model has already passed certification, during which it became known that the crossover in the basic version will be equipped with one 270-horsepower engine.
