British singer and former One Direction member Liam Payne has been found dead in a Buenos Aires hotel room. The hotel manager reportedly called the police because of an "aggressive man who may have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol." Payne went into the hotel lobby but was asked to go to his room. Immediately after, a thud was heard. It turned out that the singer had fallen out of a window.



Medics who arrived at the scene confirmed Payne's death. The police later searched the room. They said that before his death, the artist had made a real mess - he smashed a TV and a laptop. They also found an unidentified substance in the room, which could be a drug. In addition, the police reported that Payne had broken up with his girlfriend before his death.



It has long been known that Payne has problems with drugs, writes La Tercera. The actor has a seven-year-old son from his marriage to American singer and TV presenter Cheryl Cole, whom he divorced in 2018.
