Female referee and FIFA inspector disqualified in Turkey for leaking video of pleasures (4 photos)
Turkish referee, 24-year-old Elif Karaarslan, has been banned for life for a sex video with a 61-year-old Turkish league referee observer. The girl intends to appeal the decision, insisting that it is not her in the footage.
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has temporarily suspended the licenses of FIFA match inspector Orhan Erdemir and female referee Elif Karaarslan. According to the official TFF website, this is due to the publication of a sex video featuring them.
The scandal erupted after a sex video of 24-year-old Karaarslan and 61-year-old Erdemir was published online. Both tried to challenge the disqualification, but the federation's arbitration board rejected their appeals. As a result, Erdemir was deprived of his license for 45 days, and Karaarslan for 90 days. According to local rules, such a punishment also entails the deprivation of a refereeing license.
Later, sources reported that, according to Karaarslan, the published video is fake, and they are trying to discredit her because of the criticism of the judges that she previously voiced.
"I have a long legal path ahead of me, but I will overcome it in the most decisive way. I count on your full support in this process. Crying, screaming and being sad are not in my rules. This is not about me. I will defend my rights to the end. "I am just one of many who are being harmed, and I hope the last," Karaarslan said.
The man insisted that "romantic relationships between referees are not prohibited by work instructions," while the girl claimed that it was not her in the video. As a result, the members of the Turkish Football Federation Council watched the couple's sex video during a meeting and decided to revoke both referees' licenses for life.
