The Shah Alam Football Stadium, located in the Malaysian city of the same name, was blown up. Built in 1994, the arena, designed for 80 thousand spectators, was declared unsafe in 2020.
The stadium served as the home arena of the Selangor Football Club. Music concerts were also held here.
Many famous teams of the level of Bayern and Chelsea played there. However, the stadium was poorly maintained. Since December 2015, the facility was closed several times for maintenance, and in 2020 it was declared unsafe.
The main part of the stadium was destroyed by an explosion. Complete dismantling is expected by mid-2025.
