A kind stranger saved a woman from bandits in Ecuador. On the morning of August 24, a resident of Guayaquil was sitting in her car when criminals drove up to her and demanded that she hand over her phone.
In the footage, you can hear: "Give me your phone, give me your phone."
After which the man snatches the device from the woman's hands. And at that moment, a motorist appears and crashes into the thieves.
When one of the attackers tried to take the motorcycle, the driver stepped on the gas again and knocked the suspect down.
When the thieves fled, the Ecuadorian returned and made sure the woman was okay.
The police began searching for two suspects.
According to statistics published by the Ecuadorian Attorney General's Office, 182,293 crimes were recorded in the first six months of this year. 43,475 of them were robberies, with 16,444 of them occurring in the province of Guayas, ahead of all other provinces.
10,760 robberies were registered in Guayaquil, the capital of Guayas.
