A Spaniard collected a collection of 3615 different models of mobile phones
Vence Palau Fernandez from Barcelona has amassed the world's largest collection of mobile phones - it includes 3,615 models.
It all started in 1999, when he was given a gray Nokia 3210 for Christmas. Since 2008, Vence began collecting models of the Finnish brand, intending to buy all the models that he could not afford before.
By 2018, the Spaniard's collection included more than 700 Nokia phones (the brand released 1,000 models in total), and then he began collecting gadgets from other manufacturers. In particular, his collection includes models from Apple, Disney Mobile, BIC Phone, Bosch, Levi's, Vertu, VK Mobile (a South Korean brand not associated with VKontakte) and others.
In addition, Vence managed to get his hands on rare Nokia models that were released in limited editions or did not disappear from sale at all. Among them are models from the Nokia 3220 Star Wars series. Episode III".
"My current collection is the result of great persistence and financial investment, if you are a collector, you will understand what I mean," Vance shared. He noted that his collection is not yet complete.
The collection is officially included in the Guinness Book of Records, and it even has its own website where you can see photos.
The previous record for the number of mobile phone models in a collection was set less than a year ago - in the fall of 2023. Then the record holder was recognized as Romanian Andrei Bilbi Argentis, who collected 3456 models.
