A bear stole a refrigerator from workers
In California, a black bear (baribal) stole a small refrigerator from a workers' car and then feasted on food from it.
Baribal climbed into the pickup truck of men repairing balconies as they watched him nearby. The predator took a small refrigerator from the car and dragged it along the road in his teeth. Then, according to an eyewitness, the bear opened the refrigerator and ate all the food from it that the workers had taken with them for their shift.
They managed to drive Baribal away: he went into the forest, leaving behind the empty refrigerator. The repairmen returned the stolen goods.
The black bear, or baribal, is the most common species of bear in North America. An adult male reaches a length of 1.4-2 meters and weighs up to 360 kilograms. Representatives of this species very rarely attack people.
