Baribal destroyed a car because of a pack of sweets (4 photos + 3 videos)
On October 10, in Littleton, Colorado, a hungry bear climbed into a car after smelling M&Ms. The clubfoot tore the interior trim and smashed the dashboard, and then also relieved himself.
Colorado National Wildlife Refuge officials posted video and photos of the incident.
The bear trashed the interior and shit on the seats until they drove him away.
The video begins with a man opening the passenger side door and saying, "Get out of here, bear!"
Baribal jumps out and runs towards the forest. The car is then shown with torn up trim, a smashed dashboard, feces and an empty M&Ms bag.
Park officials described the incident as follows: "Look what a bear can do to a car when he's hungry and smells food left behind."
In recent weeks, such cases have become more frequent in America.
On November 3, an Orlando family was left without dinner after Baribal stole their order from the porch and then returned for soda.
When the household went out to get food, it was no longer there. Uber Eats has reportedly refunded the family's money for the stolen meal.
Another meeting with Baribal took place at the five-star St. Regis Aspen Resort in Colorado. The security guard heard a noise in the kitchen and went to investigate, where he was attacked by a predator. He jumped up on his hind legs and knocked the man down, after which he quickly left the scene.
The victim called the rescue service and received medical assistance. The American was lucky to escape with only scratches on his back. The bear was found and euthanized.
Colorado National Wildlife Refuge officials are urging local residents to remove trash and food scraps to avoid attracting animals. They also recommend removing all bird feeders as bears have been known to empty them.
