A 26-story high-rise building burned today in the Nura district of Astana. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan, rescuers evacuated eight people from the building, including a child. 
In the center of Astana today, the 26-story skyscraper “Rixos Khan-Shatyr” was burning epically. The fire was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan.
The building is located at: Turan Avenue, 37/9. As Zakon.kz writes, not only apartments are located inside, but also administrative premises.
The skyscraper is located in the city center, near the large shopping center “Khan-Shatyr”, which is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest “tent” in the world.
According to the department, a fire occurred in the outer cladding of the building; 16 units of equipment and 72 firefighters worked at the scene.
