Restmod of an old Alfa Romeo GTA 1960 for 470 thousand dollars (7 photos)
The Italian company Totem Automobili, specializing in restomods of classic Alfa Romeos, presented its new project. The Giulia GTA from the 1960s has been turned into an electric car, the GT Electric Armonia, with 590 horsepower and starting at $470,000.
Despite retaining the styling of the original Giulia GTA, the bodywork is completely new. It is made from lightweight carbon fiber and the individual bumpers have been removed. The deep metallic blue was designed specifically for the customer (this restomod already has an owner).
LED headlights and lanterns with a unique glow pattern. The interior is trimmed with expensive brown genuine leather, metal and carbon fiber inserts. The curb weight is relatively modest for an electric car, 1,490 kilograms.
Electric motor with a power of 590 hp. accelerates the restomod to hundreds in 2.9 seconds. The maximum speed of 209 km/h looks modest against this background. The 81-kilowatt battery claims a range of more than 500 kilometers on the WLTP cycle.
The cost of the restomod starts at 470 thousand dollars. This amount does not include any additional equipment or work to personalize the machine.
