The Mercedes-AMG GT 43 has become available for order in Europe. The rear-wheel drive version with a 2-liter turbo engine costs from 118.4 thousand euros in Germany, which is 49 thousand cheaper than the previous basic version of the AMG GT 55 4Matic+.
The engine develops 421 hp. and 500 Nm. Another 14 forces are briefly added by the microhybrid superstructure. The gearbox is a 9-speed with a wet clutch, while more powerful variants use an automatic transmission with a torque converter. The coupe reaches 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 280 km/h.
The standard equipment includes nappa leather trim, a rear view camera, 19-inch wheels, the MBUX media system with an 11.9-inch screen and navigation, wireless smartphone charging, and driver’s seat position memory. Manufaktur's proprietary vehicle customization program is available.
The customer can expand the equipment with individual options or their packages. Thus, one of the most affordable items is a heated steering wheel for 310 euros. The AMG Dynamic Plus package is available for 4,820 euros. This includes dynamic engine mounts, an electronically controlled rear differential lock, Race driving mode, active aerodynamic element at the front lower body and yellow brake calipers.
