A man caught a huge shark on a hook while fishing (4 photos + 1 video)
A team of fishermen was exploring the sea in search of fish, when suddenly they were hooked by a huge shark. The length of the predator was 4.3 meters, and its weight was 450 kg.
Josh Jorgensen and his friends were fishing in the Bahamas when suddenly a huge shark caught his hook. He used squid and barracuda meat as bait. They soon managed to catch a yelloweye sea bass, which they went out after, and then moved to shallow water in search of other fish. Suddenly they noticed that there were sharks under their boat.
Josh hooked a reef shark, but when he looked into the water, the angler saw that his catch was being eaten by a much larger tiger shark. According to the fisherman, it was the biggest shark he had ever caught! After a difficult struggle with a huge predator, he still managed to throw the fish into the boat. But not for the sake of catching - he wanted to pull the hook out of her mouth. He and the fishermen measured the shark: its length was 4.3 meters and its weight was 450 kg. This is a fairly large individual.
After the fisherman pulled out the hook, the shark was released into the water to continue surfing the sea. The shark remained (almost) safe and sound!
