A whale shark swam to the fishermen for help (3 photos + 1 video)

This is certainly a truly heartwarming video, but there is also concern as more and more trash appears in the ocean and endangers the lives of sea creatures.

The fishermen went out to sea, saw that a whale shark the size of a small house was rubbing near their boat, and acted like real heroes. The men did not have to fight the predator, because the fish did not swim at all in order to scare the bipeds. The smart giant needed help, but the video was still not for the faint of heart.

Malaysian fishermen went to catch their catch in the waters of Bintulu in the state of Sarawak, counting on a good catch, but Fortune provided them with something more interesting, says World of Buzz. Not far from the island of Penang, the men were looking at pods of dolphins circling around the boat when their attention was attracted by a completely different sea predator. She didn't look so peaceful.

A huge whale shark approached the boat, but events unfolded unpredictably. Do you think that a predator of impressive size, which can easily bite through a boat, began to attack men? Not so. The fish calmly settled down on the side of the ship, which surprised the hunters, and soon revealed the secret of its behavior - the guys noticed that its body was tied with a large yellow rope.

The fishermen behaved like real heroes (with a slightly dulled instinct of self-preservation) and decided to help the shark get out of the loop. They took a pole with a hook and pulled the predator closer to the boat. Toothy did not resist and seemed to completely trust the men and their actions. The rescuers spent a long time trying to figure out how to cut the rope, trying different options, including scissors, but ultimately found a compromise. The freed shark, as a sign of gratitude, not only did not eat the company of men, but also seemed to gratefully wave its tail in their direction.

The Malaysian Animal Association shared a video of the incident on Facebook on December 1, and the spine-chilling sight clearly impressed commentators, who left almost five thousand likes on the post in less than 24 hours.
