German police suspect that the brothel was purchased by Chinese intelligence officers in order to recruit agents there.







The German publication Bild writes with deep concern that the largest brothel in Europe, the 11-story Eros Center (now Pasha) in Cologne, has come into the possession of a Chinese citizen. The publication considers it suspicious that the brothel, which went bankrupt during the Covid-19 pandemic and was then worth 5-6 million euros, was bought for a record 11 million euros by a 46-year-old Chinese woman.



German investigators, according to Bild, believe that “Pasha” was bought by the Chinese mafia, backed by the PRC secret services. The first need a brothel to launder ill-gotten money, the second - to recruit agents and informants. Now the German police are looking into the case of an interesting Chinese symbiosis between the mafia and spies.



Among other things, the publication provides interesting data and prices for sex services in what is now a Chinese brothel. So, in 2021, the building was renovated, dividing it into three sectors - a paid sex zone, a nightclub with striptease and a hotel. Only men over 18 years of age are allowed into the main room; entry costs 5 euros. The visitor pays the rest of the money directly to the priestess of love. One sexual act costs around 50 euros. The publication notes that unfortunate prostitutes are forced to pay 160 euros for renting a room plus 40 euros for cleaning. Thus, every sex worker needs to service at least four men a day to stay afloat.

As for the striptease bar, entry costs 20 euros, but, unlike a brothel, women are also allowed there. A package with a private 20-minute dance, a glass of champagne and a second drink will cost the client 170 euros. A night in a hotel will cost 199 euros.
