GUR soldiers hit the newest Russian Podlet radar. Its value is more than 5 million dollars
The Ukrainian military attacked one of the newest radar stations of the Russian invaders, Podlet, which cost more than $5 million. It was used to detect and transmit target coordinates to Russian S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems. This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense on Facebook.
It is noted that the Gusi-9 GUR group together with military personnel of the 15th OBrAR "Black Forest" discovered and hit the Russian radar 48Ya6 K-1 "Podlet".
Thus, the antenna-feeder installation and the diesel station that powered the complex were successfully attacked.
“The Podlet radar station is a relatively new Russian development - it began to be supplied to the army of the aggressor state in 2015. The cost of such a radar is more than 700 million rubles or more than 5 million dollars,” intelligence officials note.
The enemy used this system to identify and transmit target coordinates to Russian S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems.
