The famous actor Warwick Davis, whom everyone knows for his role as the goblin Griphook and Master Yoda, paid tribute to his wife. Samantha, with whom he lived in love and harmony for 30 years, died on March 24. She was 53 years old.

Samantha Davis was also an actress. She met her future husband in 1988 on the set of the film Willow, where she had a small role.

Since then, the couple has been inseparable for three decades. They have two children together - Annabelle (27 years old) and Harrison (21 years old), who inherited dwarfism from their father. Samantha also had short stature, which was caused by achondroplasia, a disease in which bones do not grow in length. The couple's first son, Lloyd, who inherited both of his parents' diseases, died 9 days after birth. Annabelle and Harrison, who only inherited their father's diagnosis, were luckier.

The 54-year-old actor spoke out for the first time since his wife's death, admitting that her passing was a huge loss. “Her passing has left a huge hole in our lives as a family,” he said. “I miss her hugs.”

He described Sammy, as he called her, as his most trusted friend and an ardent supporter of everything he did in his career. “She was a unique character, always saw the sunny side of life, had a great sense of humor and always laughed at my bad jokes,” Davis added.

The actor said that in recent years Samantha began to have difficulty moving, but she fought and tried to be persistent.

He and Samantha met when Davis played the sorcerer Willow Ufgood in the 1988 film named after his character. Samantha and her father Peter - Davis's business partner - had small roles as village residents.

She also had an uncredited role as a goblin in 2011's Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, in which Davis last portrayed Filius Flitwick, a witchcraft professor at Hogwarts.

In 1989, she played a role in the BBC educational series Through the Eye of the Dragon.

Davis and Mr. Burrows, 77, co-founded Willow Management in 1995 with the goal of changing the representation of people with dwarfism on screen. Mr. Burrows is an actor who has appeared on stage as well as in television and film, including "The Legend of King Arthur," "Hamlet" and the 1983 film "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi" (he played an Ewok).
