Hilarious footage of the capture of a troublemaker (4 photos + 1 video)
Last week, police in Grantsville, located 50 kilometers southwest of Salt Lake City, Utah, received complaints about three pigs. Having broken free, the pigs wreaked havoc: they walked the streets, made their way to the plots, and rummaged in the gardens.
Officer Corey Cooper and his colleagues set out to catch the elusive fugitives.
The department released a video with the theme song from "The Benny Hill Show" in the background. In the footage, Cooper chases a pig across the front lawn and has to jump on it. The cameraman cackles off-screen. Finally, Cooper grabs the fugitive, and she squeals pitifully.
The officer admitted that this was not the first time he had caught pigs.
“It is impossible to reason with animals... Their instincts are fight or flight, and most often they run, and quite quickly,” the police officer said.
He suffered a few scratches but was otherwise fine, Cooper said.
All the troublemakers were caught. Their owner never showed up, so they will be given to a shelter.
