29-year-old Noland Arbo, implanted with a Neuralink chip, was able to play Mario Kart with his father using the power of his mind. A short recording of their joint ride was shown during an event organized by the neurotechnology company Neuralink.
Noland said that the chip makes him feel like a normal person, not paralyzed. According to the man, with the help of Neuralink he can perform various tasks on a computer, and every day he can do it faster and more efficiently.
Among other things, Noland is able to play some games with the power of his mind, including Civilization VI. He said that he was getting better at playing strategy. Noland joked that he likes the progress because beating his father at chess every time isn't as much fun anymore.
Answering questions, the man thanked the creators of Neuralink for changing his life. Noland is confident that the neurochip will help many people in the future.
