A hungry monkey jumped on a scooter and caused an accident

In Thailand, a monkey noticed a bag of food hanging from the handle of one of the scooters and jumped onto the seat of the vehicle.

A motorcycle garage owner from the Lopburi region named Chanachai Sangsit shared a video of the incident caught on CCTV with reporters. In the video, the monkey was running across the road and, noticing bags of food hanging from the handle of the vehicle, jumped onto the seat behind the driver. Due to surprise, the driver lost his balance and the scooter fell. After this, several more monkeys ran up to the scene of the accident, hoping to profit. They were quickly driven away by witnesses to the incident, but the animals still managed to take one bag of food. The man received minor injuries.

The incident occurred near the Phra Prang Sam Yot temple, where a huge number of primates live. Every year they become more aggressive and attack people more often. By sharing the video with reporters, Sangsit hoped that it would attract the attention of the authorities, who would begin to solve the problem.
