An 18-meter Kairos rocket exploded in Japan a few seconds after launch. The rocket belonged to the Japanese startup Space One and carried a small reconnaissance satellite. The cause of the explosion remains to be determined by specialists.
Space One hopes to eventually become a pioneer in the private rocket launch market in Japan.
