In the miniature museum in Hamburg you can find a replica of the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix circuit. The miniature exactly replicates the real route. Elevation differences, buildings, and parking locations were taken into account.
The 1:87 scale model was made with the support of Porsche, which provided a 3D model of the city and documentation for the cars (so that the creators of the miniatures would not be sued by other teams - all the cars in the model are from Porsche).
The maximum speed of cars on a circle can reach 85 centimeters per second (corresponding to a real 266 km/h). The cars move along the track using magnets (as in the Soviet game "Behind the Wheel") - and can ride autonomously or be controlled (you can arrange a real race).
Over the course of a year, the creators of the model received 3 offers to “sell the model after exhibition” or simply “sell right now” - two from “anonymous representatives of the sheikhs” and one from a Russian businessman who decided to give such a gift to his 13-year-old son and his friends. Naturally, everyone was refused.
At the request of viewers and visitors, model creators add cute little things - for example, topless girls with beer in their hands on a yacht or a man in a robe watching the race from a hotel balcony.
