A serious accident involving passenger bus No. 152 occurred on January 24 at the intersection of Nalichnaya and Bering Street in St. Petersburg. The bus drove onto the sidewalk, ramming road signs and pedestrians along the way.
According to the health committee, five people were initially injured, including a 16-year-old teenager. Four are in serious condition, one more is in moderate condition. All are hospitalized.

The 58-year-old man has 6 years of bus driving experience and has had no complaints about him. One of the possible causes of the accident is that the driver’s leg went numb, which is why he was unable to control the pedals.
The police detained a 58-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan who was driving a bus on route 152 and hit five people on Vasilyevsky Island. A criminal case has been initiated under an article on violation of traffic rules, which through negligence resulted in the infliction of grievous bodily harm.
