Canadian rapper received life sentence because of new song (3 photos)
I wanted to surprise my friends and listeners, but instead I ended up in jail forever.
Overmind from Canada is a 24-year-old musician and street gang member Tyrell Nguyen (T-Sav).
Tyrell Nguyen
He recorded a new song in which he reported details of the 2017 murder. Then the gangster Randy Kahn was killed and that crime was considered a typical “grouse”. But that’s okay, Tyrell helped the security forces and, to the accompaniment of a noble cue ball, tweeted out the details of the crime.
There were no names, of course. But the musician pointed out details of the case that only the investigators knew, and they became interested in the singer. They took the guy into custody and found out that it was he who dealt with Randy Kahn, and later killed student Jagvir Singh Malhia. It is not yet clear with the latter; he had nothing to do with crime. It was probably killed by mistake; this is the main version now.
At the same time, the rapper was charged with attempted murder of two more people. The guy admitted everything. And he regretted more about recording that ill-fated song with details of the murder than about the crimes themselves.
A judge has concluded that Tyrell Nguyen's claim that he shot Randeep Kahn in a music video can be admitted into evidence, the investigation was told.
Based on the amount of crimes, the boy was sentenced to two life sentences. He won't get any parole.
Made a real hit. Life.
