The coolest Gelendvagen Maybach is asking for more than 980 thousand dollars (27 photos)
The G 650 Landaulet has become the first Mercedes-Benz off-road model to receive the Maybach nameplate following the relaunch of the luxury sub-brand. In total, only 99 of these cars were built in the second half of the 2010s, now considered a collector's item among Mercedes-Benz fans. One of them was put up for sale by premium dealer Hollmann International, asking 940,100 euros for the SUV.
Essentially, the G 650 Landaulet is an extended mix of several Mercedes-Benz models at once. The SUV chassis uses portal axles from the extreme G 500 4×42, the body is modified using parts from a three-door convertible. The rear section of the roof has been removed, replaced by a fabric soft top that extends to about the B-pillars.
Increasing the wheelbase and eliminating most of the trunk made it possible to create enviable space for rear passengers. The interior design for them was borrowed from the luxury versions of the S-Class. There are separate seats with plenty of adjustments and a massage system (the adjustment keys are located on the racks), and folding tables and heated cup holders are hidden in the center console. In addition, rear passengers have their own media system screens with control panels. The interior is trimmed with expensive leather and carbon fiber.
The G 650 Landaulet is powered by a 6-liter turbocharged V12 producing 630 horsepower - the most powerful engine the company had at that time. The car should accelerate to 100 km/h in about 6 seconds.
This particular off-road convertible limousine, built in 2018, is also in excellent condition. By and large, an almost new copy is up for sale, since the car's mileage is only 450 kilometers.
