Ukrainian military performed Christmas hits from countries around the world: War is not over

Nine Ukrainian soldiers performed the Christmas songs Happy Xmas (War is over), Have Yourself and Merry Little Christmas, Let It Snow and I’ll Be Home for Christmas.

The filming of the video took place in a dugout in the Bakhmut direction, against the backdrop of the cultural center and railway station in Liman, schools and a gas station in Konstantinovka, 15 kilometers from the front line, destroyed by the Russian occupiers.

In each song, the authors replaced several words. In particular, the words “war is over” (“war is over”) in John Lennon’s composition Happy Xmas were replaced with “war is not over.”

In the song I'll Be Home for Christmas, written on behalf of a World War II soldier, the lyrics from "I will be home this Christmas" are changed to "I won't be home this Christmas." ("I won't be home this Christmas").
