In Moscow, a window frame fell from the 20th floor onto a woman and her child
The victims were extremely lucky. They did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case for the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements (Article 238 of the Criminal Code) after a window frame fell on a woman with a one-year-old child in Moscow. It is reported that the incident occurred on November 30 at the entrance of an apartment building on Gerasim Kurin Street.
Footage from an intercom camera shows a massive object falling on the woman as she bends over her child to straighten his clothes. The main blow fell on the woman, but a one-year-old girl was also injured. Both were hospitalized, but fortunately their injuries did not pose a threat to their lives.
It is reported that the window frame and glass collapsed from the 21st floor. The Investigative Committee is taking all necessary measures to find and punish those involved in the incident. Those found guilty face up to two years in prison.
Judging by the photo, the one-year-old girl suffered injuries to her face and right arm.
