Suddenly, the suspect exited the second elevator, which was not occupied by police officers, and quickly moved toward the officer, swinging the knife directly at him. That officer retreated outside the lobby, and the suspect then ran toward the elevator, which contained three officers. One officer fired a Taser at the man, and two officers drew their service weapons and shot the man multiple times at close range. The video shows the man lying on his back next to the elevator with his right arm limp. After the shooting, law enforcement officers tried to save the man's life. The man was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. No officers or civilians in the area were injured during this incident.
