A tourist vehicle driving through the Yala National Park on December 11, in the grounds of the Sithulpavva Rajamaha Viharaya Temple, located in the Hambantota district, in the south-east of Sri Lanka, attracted the attention of an aggressive local resident named Nitra.
The driver of the safari car was unable to avoid a living obstacle that broke the side window of the vehicle, and then, using a long trunk, began to methodically examine the interior of the car.
A group of tourists, among whom were children, experienced exciting moments in their lives, but still were not injured and after some time, thanks to the efforts of the driver, they got rid of the “claims” of the hungry beast.
