Stephen King, a renowned horror and fantasy writer, has made several cameo appearances in films based on his own works. Here are a few such films with a brief description and mention of his role.





Knight Riders (1981)



In the film, King appears as a spectator at a fair. The woman he sits next to in the frame is his wife, Tabitha King.

Kaleidoscope of Horrors (1982)





This is an anthology horror series consisting of several short stories. Stephen King played the role of a man named George who encounters an invasive plant in his home.

Maximum Acceleration (1986)



This is a science fiction film about how machines become self-aware and start attacking people. Stephen King makes a cameo as a restaurant guest who is attacked by aggressive trucks.
