13 celebrities who fell in love with their assistants, trainers, stylists (14 photos)
It seems that famous people should have an incredibly wide circle of friends and a huge choice when it comes to relationships, love and marriage. Surprisingly, but true: quite often stars, on the contrary, tend to look for a partner somewhere nearby, in their immediate environment - and their choice falls on assistants, house helpers, nannies of their own children, stylists, personal bodyguards, trainers, etc.
Here are a few examples of couples in which not both partners are from the “star” environment, but only one.
1. Patrick Dempsey
The actor met his wife Gillian in 1997 when he decided to cut his hair. He walked into the hair salon, saw Gillian and “immediately knew she was the one.” They have been married since 1999.
2. Ethan Hawke
Ethan Hawke's wife Ryan Shawhews briefly worked as his children's nanny while he was married to Uma Thurman, but according to Ethan Hawke, there was nothing romantic between them at the time. “I met Ryan through my literary agent, and she was actually one of Maya and Levon’s nannies during the filming of the film,” he told the Guardian in 2009. “After a short period of working for me, Ryan returned to Columbia University to finish her degree. There were no scandalous thoughts or actions then. In the years that followed, my marriage fell apart due to many factors, none of which were even remotely related to Ryan.” The couple has been married since 2008 and has two children, Indiana and Clementine.
3. Usher Raymond IV
American R&B singer Usher met his ex-wife Tameka Foster in 2007 when she worked as his stylist. According to Tameka, she was in the process of breaking up with her husband at the time, and Asher gave her advice to understand the situation. But when it became clear that she and her husband would not stay together, the musician invited her on a date. She joked that he needed to grow up and was a "bit of an annoying customer," but their first real official date was a vacation together in Aspen, and the rest is history.

I trust him with the lives of my children."

Christian Bale's wife Sibi Blazic was not his assistant and did not work for him. But he met her while she was working as an assistant to his Little Women co-star Winona Ryder, and they have been married since 2000. The couple are famously private, but in 2009 Bale told People about his family: “It’s all about my girls, my wife and daughter. I carry pictures of them with me all the time.”
