But their stories would be incomplete if their faithful and brave princes were not nearby. There have already been quite a lot of film adaptations of cartoons, so you can’t remember them all at once! But we can say for sure that the casting of new “princesses” always causes a storm of emotions. Take, for example, the recent “The Little Mermaid.” But with princes, as a rule, everything is calm. Is it that it is easier to find the ideal prince than the princess?

By the way, the princes also have different names: in the first case, the handsome crowned prince is listed as Prince Andrew (Armie Hammer), and in the second as Prince William (Sam Claflin).

“Beauty and the Beast” is a wonderful fairy tale that inspired not only the release of a wonderful cartoon into the world, but also the making of two full-length films. And if the American version (2017) with Emma Watson and Dan Stevens, although very beautiful, is still a true Hollywood story, then the French version (2014) with Vincent Cassel in the role of the Beast is a real aesthetic and sensual gothic.
